Prof Falade graduated MBBS with distinction in Paediatrics from University of Ibadan wining the Glaxo-Welcome and Departmental Prizes in Paediatrics. She holds the Fellowships of both the National and West African Postgraduate Medical Colleges and MSc in Pharmacology. She is a Consultant Clinical Pharmacologist to the University College Hospital, Ibadan. She is also a Fellow of both the African Academy of the Sciences and of the Nigerian Academy of Science. She is currently the Director of the Institute for Advanced Medical Research & Training at the College of Medicine, UI, Nigeria and Chair of the UI/UCH Institutional Review Committee.
Her research efforts have focused on malaria and She has successfully adopted interdisciplinary framework to foster partnership with other researchers locally and internationally to explore malaria control strategies across family, community and healthcare context
