A treatment advocate, activist, a father, husband and a grass root teacher and community mobilizer has lived openly and constructively with HIV for about two decades.
Ibrahim over the years has championed many community initiatives towards improving the national response to HIV. He initiated the first support group for discordant couples. During his tenure as the NEPWHAN state coordinator, he led the integration of HIV-KAP in the activities of the network which has increased their visibility in the state.
He is a member of several national and global boards which include the Community Delegation to the Board of Global Fund, Community Delegation to UNITAID Board, Country Coordinating Mechanism Nigeria, Stop TB Partnership Nigeria etc.
Ibrahim presently is the Community/Prevention Services Manager of Prime Health Response Initiative and is also the Executive Director of Good Health Educators Initiative.
